Camping at Pine Lake

We went camping at Pine Lake for 3 nights. It was so much work to get there, but we had so much fun. We went with Phil's sister Cori and their family. We haven't seen most of them for 3 years, so it was so fun to get to know their kids again. Phil's brother Dave and his family went to. The babies were better than I thought they would be. They are at a really hard stage for camping. They are both crawling and putting everything in their mouths. Nights were a little rough, but I had prepared myself for the worst. This is us on a hike through the petrified forest - it was so not worth the amount of energy it took to carry a baby to see 3 pieces of petrified wood. At the end of the hike Phil took both babies.
At the end of the hike we took a little break in the shade. The kids got in trouble for harassing the lizards - old people!

This is Brinly and Alexis, they were little buddies and did everything together. This is on a different hike up a little canyon.

Chilllin' in the trailer with Elmo.

We camped in an awesome spot and the lake was really close. The kids spent 90% of their time catching leopard frogs. Those poor frogs.

Hadley showing me all the cool things she was finding on the ground that she has never seen before. Besides them being a little cranky from lack of sleep I think the babies had a lot of fun.

Kelsi and Gentrie. My girls love Gentrie and try to be her little mother.

Playoffs

We went to 2 playoff games this year. The first game we had amazing seats and we went with our friends April and Justin Summers. We sat in the friends and family section. John Stockton and Mark Eaton were 10 rows in front of us. I fought Ronnie Prices brother for a shirt and won - that's right don't mess!
Half time entertainment.

Phil won't ever be serious for a picture, he always has to make a weird face.

The second game we went with My mom and dad. We took Kaden and Brinly and they had the time of their lives. It was so much fun, but the seats weren't as good.

Grandma and Grandpa with Brinly.

The kids wanted signs and I had about 10 minutes to make them so here they are!

Kaden's new motorcycle.

Kaden was bottoming out his old bike so we sold it and got a 125. He looks so big on it and within an hour was riding it like a pro. It cost more than the old one so he gets to mow the lawn and weed our acre all summer long. He is such a good boy and I am shocked at how big he is getting.
The things I get talked into. Kaden has always had a thing with jumping over people. When he was 6 he was jumping over his dad. Grandpa Whiting was taking pictures on his other bike like this, so when he got the new one it was "come on Mom I'm not gonna hurt you, just let me jump over you while you take a picture." So I did it, but it wouldn't zoom out far enough to get the whole bike in the photo, oh well!

What a little stud at 9-years-old!
